What We Care About

Activism isn’t about winning every battle. It is about recognizing problems and working toward a solution. When we see changes that need to be made in the industry or community, we can come together and speak as one. If we are silent, we are complicit. Organizing is a powerful tool. Your voice can become part of the democratic process on the job and in the world. Through solidarity, we can accomplish things together that none of us can achieve alone.

“I am hoping that over the next few years our importance to the filmmaking process as storytellers will continue to grow”
–Rachael Stanley, Executive Director

That’s how I look at it I try to turn it to say I ’m a historian a storyteller and this is the truth of who my people are
